SnuggleSMP Vanilla — Thank You for Season 1 & Welcome to Season 2!

Hey everyone!

The time has come to close one chapter of SnuggleSMP Vanilla and begin preparing for the next.

After all the builds, adventures, late nights, streams, chaos, deaths, questionable decisions, and incredible memories...

SnuggleSMP Vanilla Season 2 is officially in development!

But before we start looking toward the future, we have one last piece of Season 1 to share with everyone.

We know just how much time, creativity, and love everyone poured into the Season 1 world.

There are homes people spent hours building.

Massive projects that somehow started with "I have an idea..."

Farms, towns, roads, mines, redstone contraptions, hidden places, unfinished projects, and countless little things that tell the story of everyone who played here.

We didn't want all of that to simply disappear when Season 2 began.

So we're happy to announce that the SnuggleSMP Vanilla Season 1 world is officially available to download! ️

SnuggleSMP isn't defined by the machine running the server.

Every house that was built.

Every adventure.

Every giant project.

Those are the things that gave Season 1 its story.

You are the ones who turned a Minecraft world into SnuggleSMP.

There is absolutely no way I could write a Season 1 thank-you without giving a very special and deeply personal thank-you to Arctic.

Arctic isn't just someone who occasionally helps with the server.

They have put sooooo many hours into SnuggleSMP Vanilla and into the other servers we host for everyone in this community.

Hours spent playing.

Hours spent testing.

Hours spent helping players.

Hours spent troubleshooting when something decides it doesn't want to work.

Hours spent listening to my crazy ideas and then somehow helping turn them into something real.

Hours spent helping moderate, configure, test, build, plan, fix, improve, and support the servers that everyone gets to enjoy.

And there are probably countless hours of work that most people will never even see.

But I see them.

Arctic is also my caregiver, and their support goes far beyond Minecraft or keeping a server online.

They've been beside me through so much of this, supporting me personally while also continuing to give their time and energy to something that means so much to me.

I genuinely don't know how to properly put into words how much that means.

SnuggleSMP may have my name attached to parts of it, and I may be the one making announcements like this, but I never want that to hide how much work happens because someone else was willing to stand beside me and say:

"Alright, let's figure this out."

Arctic has done that again and again and again.

Not because they had to.

Because they cared.

They cared about the servers.

They cared about the community.

They cared about the people playing on them.

And they cared about me.

So Arctic, from the absolute bottom of my heart:

When we started these servers, we could provide the hardware.

But there was one thing we could never create ourselves.

The community.

You created the friendships.

You created the towns, homes, farms, ridiculous builds, inside jokes, adventures, and moments that turned a save file sitting on a server into somewhere that actually meant something.

Seeing people choose to spend their free time here means more to me than I can properly put into words.

There are thousands upon thousands of Minecraft servers you could have joined.

There are countless games you could have played.

There are countless communities you could have spent your time with.

But you chose to spend some of that time with us.

I will never take that for granted.

Whether you were here from the very beginning of Season 1 or joined us near the end...

Whether you've played hundreds of hours or only a handful...

Whether you've built something everyone recognizes or a little house hidden somewhere nobody has ever found...

You were here.

You were part of this world.

You were part of its story.

And you're part of the reason we're sitting here talking about a Season 2 at all.

So as we close Season 1 and begin working on the next chapter, I want everyone to know how sincerely grateful I am.

Welcome to Patch S6 of the SnuggleSMP Minecraft Network
S6 focuses on expanding existing systems, improving flexibility, and adding long-requested quality-of-life tools—especially for caregiver/little dynamics, admin oversight, and adventure progression.

This patch is about making what we already built work better for more people, without compromising consent, safety, or cozy vibes.

Core System Enhancements

Multi-Caregiver Support (ABDL Systems)

We’ve expanded our ABDL systems to support multiple caregivers per little, reflecting real community dynamics and improving inclusivity.

This update includes:

Multiple caregivers can now be linked to a single little
Proper permission handling across all linked caregivers
Cleaner internal logic to prevent conflicts or overlap
Improved safety and boundary enforcement

This allows:
Shared caregiving
Rotating or co-care dynamics
Better support without exclusivity pressure

To better support moderation and long-term stability, we’ve added new admin-level tools to the ABDL plugin.

Quest & Task System Refactors

We’ve continued internal refactoring of the Adventure / Quest system to prepare for more complex content.

This work includes:

Prep for non-combat and non-kill quests
Better long-term scalability for story content

While much of this is behind the scenes, it lays the groundwork for richer, more flexible adventure gameplay

Backend Website Sync (Ongoing)

We’ve continued work on syncing quest and task data between:

This effort focuses on:

Making quests manageable outside the game
